Third long duration mission to the Salyut 6 space station. The crew tested a new gamma ray telescope brought by Progress cargo vessel. An EVA was conducted on Aug.15, 1979 by both crewmembers. Crew landed with unmanned launched Soyuz 34 by setting a new long duration space flight record.
