Crew of mission 4S
delivered
the fourth lifeboat for the permanent space station crew and change it
with the third one for travelling back to earth. The mission also provide
opportunity for additional scientific work, outside the station's main
workload. On this flight, Roberto Vittori worked at four important
experiments for ESA.
Further goal was giving the
second
space tourist Marc Shuttleworth the possibility for his fare paid space
vacation on board a russian spaceship. |
